Throughout my life, I’ve had a very irregular relationship with drawing, sketching and crafts. I’m not good at any of those but sometimes, I manage to whip up reasonably presentable pieces of art. I don’t know how to draw from my imagination, so, I usually just use reference images from Pinterest or draw objects around me.

DIY
I basically painted a huge plastic lid black, then painted circular cardboard with acrylic hoping for a universe/space kind of theme, then I stuck numerical stickers and attached the cardboard to the lid. Then my parents helped me make a hole in the middle, where we attached the clock mechanism. I stuck some star stickers on the second hand, so now it looks like a shooting star is always in motion. And done!
A Walk Down Memory Lane
To start this artsy journey, here are a few of the very first pictures that I drew. I was probably 4 or 5 when I drew these. A huge thank you to my parents who preserved these ‘drawings‘. They remain the purest products of my toddler self’s imagination to this day. Had I seen these at 13 or 14, I would have disposed of them ruthlessly. Ah, the enormous proclivity towards stupidity my early teenage self possessed. Sometimes, I’m amazed by it myself. Oh well.
Stay tuned for more! Thank you so much for stopping by! Let me know what you think and which one was your favourite (if any)!
