You’re something between a dream and a miracle.
― Elizabeth Barrett Browning

In forgotten realms, they reside.
Tales of old,
That bring to life,
Memories of what once was
As life’s fallen autumn leaves,
Show me glorious pasts
Laid in blatant disregard.

For lives that thrived on a compulsive past,
I write a new song of hope
With melodies, that play
On wavelengths of the universe.

The skies bear witness
To a revolution that never was
For dreams that grew old too fast.
We turn back time
To regain the youth of beauty,
We once surrendered and, dare
To dream, a dream anew.

All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.
― Walt Disney

  1. I love the imagery you use in your poems, D, it’s always so beautiful and relate perfectly to the theme! I feel like we let go of our dreams so easily, but Walt Disney’s quote sums it up really well, it just takes some effort and we can do it! 💛

    The history
    of all humanity
    is in everyone
    Newborn
    already anchored

    the departed
    I do not need to
    make a revenant

    bring them back to life
    they are in the soul
    if you want me
    have something to say
    they will
    report in my dreams

    The stories of the past
    were neither gorgeous
    still just bider

    the moment in today
    is in gross disregard
    of the law
    the soul
    to train one’s own heart

    the constraints are today
    the same as then

    the cosmos has life
    made possible on earth

    Life begets
    under the sky
    on our mother
    Earth forever

    lead the children
    the determination
    the Incarnation
    which is still going on

    the dream of the night
    tells man
    to his reflection
    when he becomes one
    willing to new insight
    what for the better
    maybe possible to do

    Nobody can
    turn back the time
    she is in her events
    doing and leaving
    cannot be erased

    Beauty is that
    what man longs for

    the shadow
    one’s own inability
    so that the others burdened
    to his success and profit
    and eternal bliss

    the youth go
    pass us all quickly

    who with his thoughts himself
    make the world better
    than what is real
    goes so i think
    in one’s own being
    past the meaning of life

Our dreams are natural phenomena, it takes all the courage to understand every day what the soul has to say to us.

  22. Oh, right, I actually clicked on my name, too, and saw my site has been deleted. I changed my domain name before, so maybe that’s the reason. I think it’s not yet been updated. I wonder what I can do about that.

Anyway, for your quick reference, here’s a link to my blog: https://writerandwandererjournal.wordpress.com/ 🙂 I only had one poem there, which is actually a song. Honestly, I don’t feel great about it. I feel it’s still lacking something from what I imagined it would be. But at least, I tried and posted it, haha! I’m still trying to practice poetry and writing more. Thanks for your great work, I found something I can serve as inspiration for my own works. ❤️
